I'm pretty excited! This is the first time that I was paying attention
when one was happening! |

Yeah - (my second) - but I'm happy that I saw it because I didn't get my email notificiation. While I usually get it late, I didn't get it at all this time.

This is my first speed challenge too. Acutally, I didn't get an email about this one at all :( I am a new member and I hope nothing's wrong with my account.
I also thought it was a 24hr one and busted my butt trying to get it ready in time. Oh well... more time to pay attention to detail now. |

Tell me about that! I'm tormented! My first speed challenge and I've been trying for 2 hours to decide which photo to submit!

I thought it was 24hrs and I was going to be busy the next day, so I took a shot that night in a hurry and now I am being too lazy to correct anything in that shot or think about any more shots :D |

I like them both, but they are quite different. Since i did my best ever in the minimalism challenge, i chose the more minimalistic of the 2. I think it will do better (yeah right). It may lose some because i editied it kinda hard to get the look i was after. While i suck at guessing the score i might get, i usually do well on what comments i will get.
No to get something for the Outside looking in. I have an idea at least. a solid 4.8 one doubt. Ooh..i have a way to boost that 5.3...how to get 2 toddlers and a dog to listen to me while they are outside and i am inside.

My first speed challenge as well. I had an idea right away. I'm very pleased with my entry. We'll see if the voters are pleased with it. |

I'm a newbie to speed challenges too. I tried shooting something to at least have a picture to enter, but it's scoring low 4 :-(
But the experience is good and it certainly gave me something to think about in the two hours I had yesterday after work!

My first speed challenge could turn into my highest yet!
currently at 6.4 I feel that the ever elusive 6.0 goal I have
set for my self my finally be within reach. I will just have
to wait for voting to end to find out! |
