Spotted this little frog today getting out of the car to go on a hike. I was set to shoot birds, deer but hey a frog in the hand is worth..?
Little did I know it was one of the new attack frogs. I was holding real still to take the first shot.

Then he starts moving his back, head and looking right at me.

Before I could do anything BLAT!! He jumped right on my lens!!

Needless to say I freaked out!! I think he wanted a kiss but I wasn't going for it.

no frogs or old ladies were hurt in the shooting of these photos.....

Justine, I'm really sorry but I am so glad I didn't see this happen I would have probably pee'd my pants laughing so hard. I hope you had a good handle on your canon while trying to get if off your lens...maybe you impressed it with your telephoto or something.

I hope the deer and birds were nicer to you. Thanks for sharing

What kind of car was he in? Must have been French... A Renault, perhaps?

Nice shots.

Made a big mess of UV filter. "It got slimed".
My husband had a good chuckle.

Too funny. So where the frog-on-a-lens shot?

* Cue the music from JAWS. * ribit

(Wasn't frog slime either - he was just "excited")

How funny! Perhaps you should have given him a kiss - maybe he would have turned into a handsome prince!!

Remember, in some states it is illegal to lick a toad!

ROFL! Seems like everyone wants to make the leap to digital photography. ;-)

Surprises are always magified when you're concentrating on a little eyepiece. You just haven't lived until a firefly lands on the objective lens of a telescope you're looking through and starts flashing. You WILL jump!

Wasn't flashing in your neck of the woods banned a while back?
Sorry - didn't mean to bug ya. :P
