Am I going mad?
Was the "5" challenge originally a 24hr challenge?
I thought i read 24hours at work, burst my gonads getting a shot, edited and uploaded now at home only to see it's now 48hour!
or am i insane?

It was always meant to be a 48hr challenge but whoever programmed it pooped it up ;)

| I didn't realize until midnight that this wasn't a 24hr challenge. I pretty much killed myself trying to get my shot just right before I went out. Got home expecting my shot to be up and in the running and I realized I have a whole day now to be even more of a perfectionist on it. |

You're insane, you're going mad, but you have 48 hours for the speed challenge. :)

Me too. Finally got my entry posted about 10 minutes before midnight. Hit update until about 10 minutes after midnight and then looked at the description ... 48 Hour Challenge!!!!! Crap! When I submitted I was a shoe-in for a top 75 place. Now the number of entries is going up. Double crap!!
Well, time tomorrow to edit it at a more leisurely pace and resubmit.

| I thought it was just me who saw that... i rushed to get it done before the deadline to find out i had another whole day....LOL... I will leave it in. |

Maybe it show be re-classified as a moderately paced challenge?

Several past speed challenges have been 48-hours, especially ones not related to a holiday.
Even though this challenge is related to the date, the plan was to run this as a 48-hour challenge so that we would not have 2 challenges entering Voting Phase on the same night.

ooh ooh I didnt realize it thanks yall... I got to go do something now.. I thought of something after midnight and thought to myself naturally after deadline to get a idea.. Its a idea worth trying for me to get a better score.. I hope ...

I screwed up big time....not only thought it was a 24 hr challenge but also thought it was an open challenge as well. Went to the same location three times to get the photo right, then had computer problems durying the processing of the images. Spent a good portion of the day on this one just to find rules changed and that I was shut out of the challenge. I guess thats life.

I think you should shell out the dough for membership. Look at how much time you just spent to enter, and poof. Must be like coitus interuptus. I think it would be well worth the $$ for you, it certainly isn't much to spend, think how much you spend on batteries or whatever. The return is well worth the outlay, IMO.
Note: I don't stand to profit in any way from memberships at this Website. Just my opinion.
