Okay, stupid question....

I purchased a Canon E-1 strap for use on 20D with battery grip. But it didn't come with any directions?

Anyone know how to install it? Can it be used in conjunction with the neck strap?

I don't know how to strap it but i guess it is almost like the neck strap.. and yes you can use both, you have to strap the hand strap over the camera and then attach the neck strap to the hand strap i guess it is like that i saw a ilustration somewhere... hope it helps.

Found the following by googling it:

The E1 Hand Strap adds security to hand-holding a camera, and was designed to be used only with cameras that have a built-in power booster or grip, or where an optional power booster or extension grip has been added. The strap attaches with one end to the eyelet at the top of the camera, and the other end to the eyelet in the base of the booster/grip. The E1 Hand Strap is for EOS 1, 1N, 1V, EOS 3, D2000 and 1D Cameras with Booster or A2 & A2e Cameras with VG-10 Grip.

Awesome....

MUCH THANKS!!!!!!!!

I finally managed at about 12:00 midnight to hook it all up so that I had both hand and neck strap but I knew it wasn't done right. That shows me clearly how to do it!

:)

Exactly what I needed!!!!
