I love pushing the antagonizing driver off the highway on the way home! it's soooo much fun.
Word of advice, don't get in front of me if you drive like that. I won't apply my brakes just because you did. |
Wouldn't want that six pack of beer to slide off the seat if you hit the brakes too hard? |
Exactly! Besides, I like scaring the bejesus out of irritating drivers. They sharply apply the brakes because I follow too close in the left lane and the next thing they see is my truck literally 2 inches from their rear bumper. Not a fun thing to see at 70mph going down the interstate. They always then show the courtesy they should have displayed to begin with and pull into the right lane.
Not something I do everyday, but slamming on your brakes on the interstate doing 70 is wrong. If you are in the habit of doing this chances are pretty good that you will encouter me or someone like me in such a situation before too long. |

BTW, I don't slam on my brakes on the freeway... too chancy, all I do is go the speed limit when someone's obviously driving as though they are the only ones on the road. switching lanes often no turn signal that kind of thing. I NEVER go below the speed limit, but sometimes I do make sure that I'm just far enough ahead of the person beside me that the one behind me can't get over without slowing down.... which they almost never do. |

So basically you drive in the left lane at about the same speed as the person in the right lane. Don't come to Alabama. |

I wish. Most of ours are two in each direction except in the cities. |

yeah, and like I said, I only do this when the person is being rude to other drivers including myself, if you come up behind me driving sensibly, then I'll get over so you can pass. I'm not out to be rude.
edit: I guess we can safely say that this thread's been sucessfully hijacked?

I could have sworn I hijacked this thread.... it seems I'll have to get some classes on proper thread hijacking techniques.
and on the actual topic, I often find myself thinking in web speak.... |

Hey now, I think the record shows that I get the hijacking credit for this thread.
