Just to get specific... when in Venice, be sure to visit the Doge's Palace (Palazzo Ducale) in San Marco square. It's amazing. |

Yes, there are a few troops left in Germany, mainly to support other operations outside of the country, but their actions outside their bases are subject to German law and jurisdictions, which should afford a photographing traveller reasonable liberty. |

True. Look for the gondoliers with white canes and sunglasses. Their Venetian blinds are world renowned. ;-)
