So I have been messing with PHPNUKE (7.6 now) for the last month and have my site almost to what I want...besides adding some more photos and tweaking some wording etc. and doing up the homepage.
My big problem is that ONLY on Windows Internet Explorer 5+ (maybe lower), the main frame gets SHOVED down to the bottom of the screen. Has anyone else had this and idea how to fix? anyone want to take a look? I am at my wits end. I have removed a few < br > tags here and there to fix the left navigation/info area, but can't find that one that is messing up. No problems on Netscape, Mozilla, FireFox, Safari, etc. as far as I have found so far.
Only other thing that I think that could be is from the JavaScript I put in....but it is all in the head.
Have a look. Site suggestions welcome also!

response from previous thread...
yes but PHP is embedded into an HTML file.
they just merge pretty seamlessly - so if your HTML is f'd up your PHP componants won't fall together properly. the HTML is the layout - the PHP is the engine that drives the content.
i'm not a PHP pro, but have played with it a bit.
i don't really have time to look into thouroughly.

i posted this in your previous thread justa second ago...so i offer you another healthy bump...
i have never used php nuke before and only have minimal experience with php, but when i looked at your code i was completely floored. there is a crap load of code there with almost no comments. try and break up your code a bit with some line breaks and add some comments for everyone to see using something like
echo "";
this will make it much easier to edit when you need to, and if you dont want anyone to see your comments, in the php code, just put a // infront of a comment like
//comment
sorry i couldnt solve your problem, but hope this helps

Look at lines 112/113 in your rendered code. |

Thanks for the idea and looking, but not my code and it will take me awhile to fully learn what the hell is doing what in there. I am not a programmer/coder, but have messed with programming and languages over the last 20 years...this is an Open Source program...I can see comments in the files, but they are not EXTREMEMLY helpful. Thanks again.
