Hello,
To those who have the new upgrade. I have a question or need of some info.
I have a problem here. I have down loaded the app. Installed it and everthing. However, haveing problems with the browser (The Bridge). I recieve alerts stating that I have to have another adobe app open or I can't use it. However, I don't have any other applications from adobe to do this. Has anyone found a way around to use the browser unlike CS...This would blow if I can't use this function in PSCS2 and now forced to buy another application that I don't need so I can browse photos within Photoshop CS2. Any ideas? Thank in advance.
However, I can always return to PSCS and think what a waste of money. Overall, not really to impressed with the new upgrade. It seems that this "bridge" feature makes a consumer to buy more than needed in order to use one application from adobe. Marketing scam I feel.

Dustin, I can understand that you're frustrated, but I think Adobe is a bit too big for some silly "marketing scam".
I have no idea what went wrong for you. Mine installed ever so easily on top of the previous version (which I had not uninstalled), and everything works like a charm.
Is it possible you bought the wrong level of upgrade? (grasping at straws here, sorry).
Perhaps you should uninstall it, and start again.
Make sure to reboot your computer in between and after install.
There IS a support line, too, if all else fails, I'd call them.
Good luck, I hope you can fix it and enjoy what you paid for. |

Well, I'm a bit flustered..:) However, I do believe I did downloaded the right level of upgrade. Perhaps I'm of needing to reinstall it and missed something...I'll give that a try.

Well after 2 hours of chewing on this problem. I have reinstalled the application and its toys. It seemed to work now. However, i have found that I can't move PSCS2 and Bridge into another location. I must keep them both in my main application folder and unable to use a subfolder. If not, I get the same problem with as above. Perhaps that was the problem, moveing the apps. into a subfolder....(shrugs)....it works now any ways. :)
Moreover, now I feel I'm getting my return on this product...The Bridge is amazeing and easy to find my photos and quicker...meanwhile I need time to play with the other new fuctions to realy evaluate the new upgrade.
Thanks for the advise...doesn't hurt reinstall...:)
Oh, for those out there that may encourter the problem this is it. Just keep the apps in the main applications folder....I have a mac with OSX TIGER, not sure about Windows Platforms.
