I did my 2,000th last night on a nice shot in the jewelry challenge.

thank you for a wonderful note, barbara. i'd also like to tell you that i still think this is one of the most incredible, yet wildly underrated, images on the whole site. this image goes beyond words for me, and i am so glad that you captured it, exactly the way you did.

i think that was due to the shock of seeing something of mine in focus, with no motion blur...

wow.....i have been here less than a week and i have made about 170 comments...which i actually enjoy....however once again i have forgotten that the web reached around the world....i left what i thought was a very positive comment on an entry and was ripped for it in a pm....it appears that a language barrier was probably the cause..but hey we dont fly flags next to entries...and unfortunately even if we did the only language i am capable of is english and trust me thats a bit shaky...still trying to find that tough skin...maybe for mothers day
