This Company:

ShutterStock

Will put your pictures on their website and then you will make .20 cents for everyone they sell. You can take your pictues off anytime, and you can sell your pictues anywhere else, but it's only .20 cents.

I have tried it, and have so far made 2.00 dollars in one day. I guess if you add that up after a month that's not bad if it keeps constant.

Has anyone dealt with this company and thinks it's a scam, or am I just selling out?

This has been hotly debated here at DPC many times that I know of and many, many more times than that, I'm sure.

Look through the old threads and I'm sure you'll find more than you bargained for on this exact topic.

You have a D100 and a D1X so you should have no problem making more then that off of your pictures. With my 3 megapixel cameras I think it's the best I can do. So it works for me.

$111 and $75 BUT the original question still not answered. How many pics have you sent to them and how long did it take to make $75 or $111. That will more completely answer the original question that they asked about.

There are numerous threads regarding ShutterStock on the forums already, so please continue the discussion in one of those rather than starting this new thread :o)

I had around 20 pics at the beggining mostly pics from my archive.
In February I had some vacation and spare time and shot many pics for SS. I managed to upload that month around 150 pics and made 29$.
Now I have 219 pics approved and this month I reached 112$ all time earnings. I have a referal, a Romanian folk, that managed to upload 441 pics in only one month and made around 80$.
So its up to your time, inspiration and determination. There are guys and gals making 200-300$ easily.

Good luck!

Check the pics I have on my gallery clicking on For designers on my signature. Thats what my A70 (and a frineds Panasonic Z3) allowed my to upload. There are 2-3 pics shot with another friend's Fuji S2 Pro
