Just got my new AB400s (Digital bee kit + 48" bolly box)

Here's a few I took this weekend of my sister and my niece and nephew. I only used one of the two lights, with the brolly box. I know I needed a reflector on the one side of the subjects - the picture of Jacob is way too dark on the one side of his face. I believe these were not full power on the light.

ISO 100, 1/180 sec. some are f/9.5 some f/11

color versions are in my portfolio, but I like the B&W versions better.

I have a lot to learn about lighting, but I like the tool so far!

I bought the DigiBee package which is $599.00

I have yet to use the second light. You can go a long way with one light and a reflector, but I caught my wife in a moment of generosity and I wanted to run with it and buy my toys before she changed her mind. :)

These are the AB400s, which are their least powerful model. That said, for my needs I have found I don't even use them at full power. I am also limited by the 10D, which has a maximum flash sync speed of 1/200 sec (thereabouts - 1/250 seems to work OK)

I'd love to, Kosta! I have been wanting to get back together with you for a photo shoot since we met last year. I was so impressed with how comfortable you are at candid street photography and approaching people.
