Since we are moving toward the limited entry challenges, I would like to see a challenge for only members who have never received a ribbon. the challenge subject should be something like victory or pride. Just an idea for us less fortunate in the ribbon winning area, at least 3 of the entries would end up with their first ribbon....

I would like one for "Notorious Drunks" like me and Kiwiness...

Maybe this time make it...

You must have had an entry score in the bottom 5% in the previous year. Or you must have had a picture score less than 4.0 in the previous year.

How about a challenge only for people who have finished in one or more of the last three places (anti-ribbons) at least once?

Yeah I like the Non Ribbon Invitational as the qualifing entry and just a good subject to work with.

It just seems like a lot of the winners are multiple winners and this discourages a lot of people. Also some of the subjects themselves discourage people from entering at all.

Another non-ribbon invitational sounds good. How about "The Space Needle" Take your best shot of the Space Needle in Seattle, Washington. Open to non-ribbon winning males only between the ages of say... 40 and 43. ...who own a Canon Rebel. That should do it. Anyone second that?

Now when you say "Spaced Needle" and Seatlle. Is that left up to my interpretation of the theme :)

Or did I mean Needles = plural. LOL

Yeah, even if I was the only one eligible, there would still be raging debate in the forums over the challenge definition!

um... no. You are only eligible to vote and the special rules include removing all but the top 2 numbers from the voting pages. :)

...and comments will all be run through my own special version of babblefish:
"Your photo sucks!" = "Simply magnificent! The color, lighting and composition are fantastic! I can't believe what an absolutely stunning shot that is. You must be a professional photographer with a shelf full of awards an Pulitzer prizes. I am in complete awe of you. You are a photo God!"
