Thanks guys - I took these awhile back down in SoCal, I did like them for their "Minimalistic" composition although I never really set out to shoot something that way. Not sure if I'll be able to come up with something comparable in time for this challenge though.

For Buzzmom who left a comment - I have this other one you might like better:

Not saying this is a good crop, etc. I was just wondering if the would define minimalism?

I was educated in the California Public School System in the 70's - THAT is Minimalism!!! LOL

With or without the beach seems fitting to me.

Thanks, I was wondering because my planed submission contains a subject and its small but with detail. But the photograph has no other elements unless you consider the sky as an element.
