I built this remote back in November. I haven't had an internet connection so was unable to share it. I always forgot to take a floppy disk when I went to the Library.

I made this out of a free sharper image little fan/light, that came with the sharper image personal neck cooling system, If you remember those from the infomercials. Went to Radio Schack and they didn't have the 2.5mm connecter but luckily there was a Frys in the vicinity. I used a headphone cord for the wire, two momentary switches(Red)autofocus-(Black)shutter release. And I wired the continuous auotfocus through the "what used to be" the power switch for the fan. I don't know what the switch is called but I'd say it is a TWO WAY-NEUTRAL IN THE MIDDLE SWITCH. And I just used one side to wire through. Works Great and was so excited that I made it myself and didn't pay the 25 dollars for a canon one though it might match the camera a little better who needs fashion behind the shot right.
