How can i can the backgroung of a picture without using layer mask and if i have to use layer mask whats the easiest way?

Use Filters > Extract. It will bring up an extract dialog box. It will bring up a brush. Reduce the size of the brush and drag it around the object you want to extract. You don't have to be precise just need to draw around the edges. Once you have done that click on the preview button to see how the image has been extracted. Then you can drag it and drop into your new image or background. You then can move it around to where you want it.

leon u can also try the magic stick and just select the field and work from there
maybe a bit amateuristic but fairly simple and it sometimes works very well
