Hey. im not a prof photographer in the slightest but enjoy taking pics of bands etc.. anyhow, i am looking to buy a new digi cam and was wondering if you all could help me..

Please be aware, i need the following two things.. black and white photography and movie filming
1. Sony DSC s80- 4.1m- £164
2. Olympus camedia c470- 4m- £105
3. Nikon 2500- 5.1- £159 but need to buy memory card also..

Help. please. choose a number

For value for money the Olympus or the nikon is shurely more camera or the money. Sony takes advantage of it's name in all the products (camerass, tvs, etc.)

See also the Fuji's ones. Like Olympus or Nikon it's more value for money. Don't care about a huge amount of megapixels, but a good qualaty and control over the exposition instead. I prefer a 3Mp camera that can have an apperture priority mode and so than a 5 Mp camera that only have atomatic exposure modes.

some of my first protfolio images for professional purposes where done with 3 Mp and printed 20x30 cm.
