Hi, thanks everyone for voting/commenting on my pet portrait image.
My question is: I wanted to make the top left corner white to match the forground....would this have been legal? I didnt dare in the end incase of disqualification so left it. thanks!

I don't see why not. I would not have felt it was a major element. I would imagine it would be ok to remove that.

I may not be SC, but I would most certainly call that a minor change, legal under advanced editing rules. |

I would have voted it as a minor element. |

Shouldn't have been a problem at all; it could serve as an illuatration for the DEFINITION of "minor distracting element".

Thanks everyone..... its so hard to decide what a minor element is as its all down to opinion. I think it would be great to see some photographic examples (in the form of links in the rules) to help us decide whats legal and whats not.
Thanks guys. |
