I just got Photoshop CS from a neighbour and was wondering if anyone can recommend the best book to assist me in learning this tool along with trial and error. Your thoughts are appreciated.

"Classroom in a book" has taught me Photoshop, Illustrator and Pagemaker. Comprehensive lessons that walk you through each lesson with files to play with. they worked for me. Pricey though.

I recommend going to photoshopuser.com and getting a subscription. Witht he $99 you get a year subscription to the site and to the photoshop user mag. I learned so much with the mag. You will get info from all the greats. Scott Kelby started it. The tutorials are excellent.
just my $.02
