Hi guys,

I wanna explain some things about my Extreme Action entry to answer all the comments I had received.

As Azrifel said in his comment, this pictures was taken in F1 Barcelona testing last friday 8th. April. It was taken the last day of testing. The pilot is Kimi Räikkönen of the McLaren Mercedes. And, as Azrifel said, he was the faster one in that journey.

I´m not sure about the speed of the car in that time, but, probably it would be about 150km per hour, because it was taken in a middle speed curve.

Finally, as makwana said in his comment, it would be better with a Ferrari, but it wasn´t possible, cause when Schumacher was testing it was raining a lot and I didn´t want to spend the weekend in the bed.

Thanks for the great score (my second 6 this year) and for your comments.

Nice shot Alexys.

How did you get the car so crisp & focused with the blurred background? Did you blur it in post-processing? Did you follow the car & snap the shot during a camera-pan?

Says in his photo comments, he was panning as he took it. I've never gotten a good one like that. Timing is so crucial (and a little luck).

It was my first panning attempt. I focussed in automatic mode, shot and follow the car... to get this pic, I shooted about 250 pics. Well, in fact, I got some good pics, but no more than 50.

Doh! Thanks, my bad. I did open it up to look at it, just too lazy (read dumb) to scroll down.
