We had a bit of a do here in Leeston yesterday, and I was shooting for work... It was the 'Charter' signing ceremony between the council and Army, which is a document which gives the army permission to parade through the streets of our district while "beating drums, with bayonets fixed and swords drawn". It's historic thing you understand, but we don't get many military events here...
Anyway, some pics... I've not been through em all yet, and will post some more to this thread if any leap out at me.
Comments/critique always welcome.. Or just silly comments for a caption on that last one!

In South Africa we call it 'Freedom of the City".. Excellent work, what a great lens, what a great photographer.

I am obviously dislexic, as when I read this post I thought it said
Everyone Loves Prada and I was about to leap in and suggest some other fashion houses as well.....

Wonder what would 'Photograpic dislexia' be called, I think I suffer from that one.
