(Grammer bad, no have me!)

I am doing horrible again with this challenge, and so I thought I would show a couple of my finalists for this submission (took over 250 shots for this challenge) and want to see if any of these are better than a 4.5 like my current one is doing, or should I just quit my major and become an accountant (no offense to any accountants out there).

another shot taken recently, but not for the submission

Can I be honest? Just my opinion, remember...

The only photographs you posted here that show ME a sense of place is the last one. I can't connect with the other 3. The first one is great in an abstract, texture sort of way. The second has great color.
They aren't bad images at all.

Don't quit - you have an eye. Do what you want - take the pictures you want. Its not easy trying to figure out what people here will vote highly on but does it really matter? I LOVE my abandoned building shot so much I am going back to the location to do a series. Don't care if anyone else ever sees them. They mean something to me. Get comments, take the good with the bad, learn a little...

good luck.

wait, I'm confused...not insulting anyone, not trying to start a fight or anything but, your majoring in photography and the camera your using is a z2? don't get me wrong if your good, it doesn't matter but it strikes me as odd that a photography school wouldn't make there students use a slr or dslr camera.

I almost have enough saved up for a digital SLR, remember I am a poor college student. Up until about 4 months ago I was shooting almost entirely film, and still do shoot alot of slides, I just cant use those for challenges. Plus u'd be suprised what that z2 can do, full manual thats all i need. I learned on an old K1000 (long live the tank) until it got stolen while I was in the darkroom

Also it was a joke about quiting my major (noone gets my sarcasm here) although I am transfering to another school to try my hand at film, so I guess in a way I already have.

I figured people would get the implied sarcasm by the title
