Ok, so this is my very first attempt at a triptych. Any and all comments, suggestions, criticisms are completely welcome. The original is sized at 12x24, Too Big?? I'm looking to possibly sell this as a print. Too boring, blah, patriotic?? :-)

Thanks for the help everyone. :-)

I like it. The only comment I have would be the center image just to me doesn't look right being larger than the other two. I really like the cropping and colors, very nice choices. Now if you could show me how you did it that would be great ;)

I love it. And I do like the center one being larger, and yes please do tell how you laid out this triptych. I'm really, really frustrated at attempting this technique. I haven't been able to get any type of tutorial on it either and I want to try it without pulling out my hair!

I use PSP8. Is that my problem? I just can't get the three photos lined up to match.

Thanks for the input guys, much appreciated! :-)

Well, I started out using my How to Wow - Photoshop for Photography book but I couldn't get it to work right so I attempted my own way.
I created a new layer for the background at 12x24 300dpi, with a little room for bleeding around the edges. Then turned on the grid and guide lines. This really helped in getting them spaced evenly without having to eye it. Then I just copy and pasted the photos onto the background. Each was it's own layer so they were able to be moved independently. Once I had them where I wanted them, I added the border and that was about it. I say "that was about it" but it actually took me about 2 hours to figure it all out, but now that I've got it, it hopefully won't take that long again. I say hopefully :-) HOpe this helps a little at least. I'm not the best tutor!! ;-D
