try alt+1069 (that is pressing the alt key and hold it while pushing those numbers)

hmmm...I just tried it (I have Elements 2) and it worked. While using the text tool, you hold down the alt key and then (not all at once, but in order) type 1069. I'm sure there's probably another way of doing it too, cut and paste and such, that I'm not as familiar with.

If you are running windows bring up the seldom remembered character map and then you can drag and drop or copy and paste the © sign.

Is your number lock ON ?

Some font don't carry this special character, therefore you will get nothing when you do it.
04/13/2005 07:38:06 PM · #9
that might jus be what the problem is
04/13/2005 07:39:07 PM · #10
Just a thought... you have to use the keypad and not the numbers above the letters.

As others have said, make sure your numbers lock is on and hold the alt key while typing the numbers.

Try Start/Programs/Accessories/System/Character Map

Then highlight and copy the @ symbol. Now go back to your text field in PS and do Edit/Paste.

On the other hand, if you were on a Mac it would be alt g - for fonts with the character.

That's because it's Alt-0169 (numbers on the keypad only; NumLock = ON).

For the Mac it's Opt-g
