the histogram is prob'ly more balanced in the edited one. But what do histograms know? I prefer the original entry.

I prefer the darker one Kosta; it retains the oddness that I think was the reason for taking the shot in the first place, without putting into a realm of 'processed image' which the more contrasty version occupies.

I'm tempted to say that just because that whole range from black to white is available doesn't mean one has to use it; but you're far too good a photographer to need telling that.

how are you doing this? I love the first one when I saw it, but thought it needed to be lighter. But how you did it_I like the original better. Are you punching the contrast up?

Kosta, I like the submitted version better. The lighter tones of the second are fine but it is a bit oversharpened or something compared to the first and that gives it an unappealing more digital look.
