Hi everyone,
I will be without camera, but I know a few of you may want to get together this weekend... kind of last minute, but go for it!
Post here (places, times, etc). I will not be able to join you til my camera comes back from Canon, but I will gladly help plan this outing!

I'm game for something local and open to anything. I've been shooting recently by myself to Santa Monica, Getty, Pasadena, Huntington Library and the La Brea Tar Pits. I'm open to other ideas. I only had a few hours at the Huntington and would like to spend early morning there, light by mid day is terrible there.
Arie, any estimates on when the camera will be returned?

Camera is having focusing issues. It's not focusing 100% clear on auto focus. So, I took it to Canon today. They said 7-10 business days. So, that means that I probably won't see it until 4/25 :(

ahh okay - for a bit, i thought you had dropped it or something even more major! glad that it's just the focus.. hope you handle the withdrawal okay! :P
as for meeting up, i don't think i'll be able to because i just have a lot of other things i need to take care of (find a part-time job, fix my computer, etc, etc) first.

GL Brian, unfortunatly i will not be able to make it either.
Hey Arie hows that for a kick in the head.. we just get back from the Anza and open challenge is Rock, Paper, Scissors.. :(

I would if you could find an extra D-SLR for me to borrow! Otherwise, I don't think I'd have much fun... Hopefully my camera will be back soon!

Arie,
Just close one eye, hold up your hands to your face and make some clicking sounds. That's what I do!!!
ha ah, just kidding. I'm wondering if anyone else is interested or if you can borrow one and join in.
