| Go to Community, Photographer profiles and the multiply the number of rows by the number of pages and POOF...........you're a rock star! |

| Probably a good thing that not everyone submits to open challenges. MAn could you imagine voting on over 35,000 photos. |

If it list the members first then registered user then the math works out like this:
Paid Members--------1,964
Registered Users---34,032 |

I think it would be useful if they would include when the last time a person logged in. It can be a stat placed in the users profile. I know some sites do this. ;)
But seriously... there are sites that will require you to have some type of activity in a given time frame, in order to discontinue accounts that are no longer being used. This of course would only apply to non paying members.

And what happens to any forum posts made by this individual? ...comments? ...do we really need to recalculate challenge results everytime someones account times out?

My best guess is that there are less than 1200 that participate on this site regularly. I do have a theory I base this on if anyone cares to know.

Simple Polls tell the story.
Our last poll lasted I believe two weeks and 1088 users participated and it was a simple question “Do you vote on challenges using an LCD or CRT monitor “. Out of every user that visited the site I would say 90%+ answered the poll. People love polls. So if my theory is correct then 1209 people signed in during the two-week period. Even the occasional user will check, I believe, each week to see what the challenge is to determine if he or she wishes to enter.
Also if you look at the poll before that 1073 people voted.

| Hmmm.. I can't remember - and I can't be bothered looking for the stats but I think Eddyg crunched some numbers and found that around about 3000 people submitted an image to a challenge in the course of last year... and about 2000 of those submitted more than one. I happen to know for sure I haven't recalled those numbers properly, but if anyone cares to dig up that thread it might be interesting to revisit it :). |
