With the amount of entries in each challenge increasing, I note the Abandoned Buildings is well over 400 should the 20% threshold be lowered to perhaps 15%.With the increassing large subbmissions it is getting more difficult to find the time to do them all justice. Any thoughts on this.?

Personally I don't think so. To get to the 20% mark you would only have to vote on 11 entries a day for the week. I think the real concern is to many challenges per week. We have had to vote on 4 challenges in one week several times. That is when it becomes an issue. I like to vote on 100% of the entries in the challenge and it makes it very hard to do with so many challenges at one time. So I have to pick a challenge and vote on it till finished and then if I have time I will vote on another.

Exactly what I though. I mean, you have a full week, 7 days for voting. Sometimes I find myself just looking at the screen, waiting for time to go by to hit the update button. I've changed my routin for that. Now I hit update, browse through some of the entries, for no specific challenge, vote on 15 or so, and then come back for the forums or the famous update button. It's not that much time you use, and it does wonders for the voting percentage!

Yes your points are well taken, It eas just a passing thought that I had,. My wife says I spend too much time here, and as the lawns are knee high I had better listen too her !!!LOL

Interesting thoughts in this thread... I find that if I run out of time, I only focus on one challenge or another. Some challenges hold no interest for me, so I do not vote at all.

But, I think lowering the 20% threshold would be a bad thing. That seems like a minimum margin to accurately sample the images froma challenge.
