I actually know someone with a Citroen SM (Maserati engine) but I've never asked to drive it. : (

My dad used to have a Pinto wagon with a 5-speed which was eminently drivable, as long as you could avoid getting rear-ended.

OOOOOH! I'm jealous! I used to have a 240Z. Of course I had to run the triple weber setup on it (along with a few other mods). Made it suck gas, but damn, that car was fun.

My other favorite car was my 1990 CRX si. After I squeezed an acura engine in it and added the supercharger it went very fast, very quickly. All that and it handled like a slotcar. Not such a good car for the snow though.

Now I drive a Ford Focus..........not the trick one, the sedan, with 2 carseats in the back. One day, Daddy's gonna get another fun car.

My Pontiac Trans Am the one and only true American Muscle Car! Great power, very comfortable and believe it or not great fuel economy. Cruise all day at over 100 mph and still get over 20 mpg.... but who cares about fuel .... it grows inside rubber hoses at gas stations.

The most important is, having fun with the family around.
Why not having fun in this?

I guarantee you'll start seeing station wagons in a different way :-D

Shelby Cobra and the old style, tiny little Cinquecento cars in Italy.

Hey, that's cheating! We were talking cars here, everyone knows that two wheels beat four anytime. Even an Aprilia RS125 is more fun than a Ferrari. :)

When it comes to two wheels I'm having the most fun on this one at the moment:

It is not mine, I'm just running it in for someone. I cannot stress the engine much at the moment so I'm concentrating on the cornering (is more fun anyway). Hurts my wrists after 50 miles, but the cornering is silky smooth at insane angles and speed. Should be even more fun when I can finally open it up properly.

My own bike is a Yamaha FZS600, tuned a bit. Almost the same fun but it doesn't hurt me. :)Another fun bike to ride is a Honda NSR125, cornerspeed, revs and more cornerspeed. Insane. Unfortunately we have a lot of trouble with the cooling system and front suspension (needs new forks) of ours. :(

Fun to drive? OK. I bought this in 1992. Loved it for a long time and just sold it a couple weeks ago. It is doubtful that there will ever be a car to match it.

I would have to say of all the cars I have driven, one belonging to one of my customers is numero uno:
1993 Honda Civic
4 Door
1.5L
5 Spd
Trailer hitch
Luggage Rack

What's so fun about it?
Hmmm - let's see. How about 222 HP at the front wheels!

:)
A close second would also belong to one of my customers:
1992 Nissan Skyline
Twin-Turbo
Right hand drive
All-wheel drive
3.2L DOHC
and a mere 650+ HP

Whee!

I'd have to say my current car "Mel O. Yellow" It's great to see the looks on peoples faces and the smiles. Get lots of comments, even from men, but I always have to ask them "yeah, but would you drive it?". Every one of them has said no :) My husband all but refuses to even ride in it and on the rare chance that he does he sits real still like a deer caught in headlights figuring no one will see him!

Hmmm... 1997 330is... Bored? Stroked? S50 Transplant? There was no 330 (at least in NA) in 1997...

Robt.

Awww, early Porsche. I had a '55 Porsche convertable for a while, with the 1500cc engine. Had terrific oversteer. Felt like I was driving on glare ice *all* the time! wasn't my first car, tho. Had to get through the TD & TF first. But I worked for a sports car agency so bargains kept coming along...

I would drive that one. It is very cool. :)
Might even put a big orange rotating lamp on top of it to draw even more attention.

The most fun car that I ever drove was a stripped down Mazda RX7 that we called "The Shark". The car was setup for SCCA racing and everything was removed from it to get the car as light as possible. All glass was removed (including the windshield). If it didn't make the car run, it was taken out. The car was fast and light and handled great.

Great subject!!
Ive had quite a few cars for a chick, I loved the 1997 mustang that I had back in 1998...but overall, the funest thing I ever had was an Old 1975 Jeep Renegade cj7. It was awsome!! One time I was "two-tracking" with some friends of mine, and I shifted from 2nd to 3rd gear and the entire gearshift came out!! I looked at my best friend and we started laughing! I asked her, "what should I do now?" she said, "I dont know...shove it back in!" So I did and I never had any other problems with it!! It was great! We got that thing stuck in so many places, and she always came out roaring!

Ford GT-40 worked for me, but only once.
