apologies for a second thread about this pic; I tried to find the old one but had no luck.
Anyway in the first thread someone asked if I could make a print out of this one (sorry I can't recall whom). After several weeks of editing, submitting, and getting rejected, I've finally been able to make one that D&L approved (thanks for your patience, D&L). I learned a ton about processing in the process, and I think I like this result better than the first.
Anyway I'm completely stoked that it worked, since I wasn't sure I'd get something printable out of it. there's a 5x7 and an 8x10 version if anyone is interested in it.
Thanks for listening. Please resume your regularly scheduled lives.

I remember you posting the first version and the city wasn't as noticable and the colors weren't as vibrant, but yet still an amazing photo. Keep up the good work, great portfolio.

10-Q Bod...I did a search in the forums but it's still moooovvviinnngggg soooo sssslllloooowwwww....
I've never been known for my patience.
FYI the reason it was hard to make a print was because it was a looong way away, and shot through two panes of crappy airplane glass on a frosty morning during the descent. I did no cloning, not did i add anything...just wanted to enhance element already there.
thanks for the help and comments.

Sure is a lot better than my Kodak Insta-matic 120 shot back in 1980. Got to spend four months up there.
Wanna swap photos? LOL. |
