When I open up a file in photoshop 7 and try to change the brightness/contrast both with layer or through adjustments menu the b/c popup menu is hidden. I cannot find it anywhere. I press enter and it goes back to normal mode and I can manipulate like normal so I know its not freezing up, its just hidding. I minimized the back window so only the tools were up, but it wasnt anywhere. I also run dual monitors (laptop and crt monitor) and its not in the other window either.

Where did it go?

Go to Window/Workspace/Reset Palette Locations and see if it fixes the problem.

ya thats what I was thinking to, but i have an upgrade version of 7.0 from 6.0 and so I have to install 6.0 first, and then 7.0 cause it needs an old version and its so much more of a hassle, so I thought id see if anyone has had this problem before or there was some sort of option I didnt know.
