This might be a really stupid question but how do I get an entry validated before the challenge actually starts? My reasons for wanting this are because I dont really want to get a second dq for any reason whatsoever, I dont want to have to go through the anxiety period of waiting and checking to see if my shot will be dq'ed or not if validation is requested and I want to have that little disclaimer at the bottom that reads "this shot has been validated"...
So yeah, how do I do that?

If you are unsure about the legality of something you want to submit, you can PM one or more of the SC members, and ask for a review. If it is clear-cut, we can give you an immediate response. Otherwise, one of us will post it for SC discussion and we will review and give you an opinion. you should alow at least 1 day for this.
You can request validation only after the voting starts. It can take as little as a few hours, but more commonly a day or two.

This brings up a good question - can we have a pre-validation process? Would be nice if you are submitting just as you head out of town and won't be around to respond to validation requests.
Let me know if this has already been discussed and is a closed issue. If not, I'll repost to the appropriate forum as a suggestion. |

I know this has been discussed--but, being lazy here, before I go search for the thread....
I actually am heading out of town middle of next week. If I enter either of the upcoming challenges and (gasp) actually make it to the top 5, I won't be able to reply to validation requests.
So, if you're feeling charitable, I could use the answer, too.
