Radiance: Use light, use beauty, use energy - shoot something you think is radiant.
Childhood Memories: Capture a photo that reminds you of your childhood. The key being your childhood, not childhood in general.
Lost in Thought â Candid shot of a person(s) lost in thought or detached mentally from their surroundings.
Uniquely you â A photograph that depicts visually a piece of yourself. Call it a self-portrait outside of the literal translation.

Everyone has seen the pictures of the gnome traveling around the world - the gnome at the Eiffel tower, the gnome in front of the pyramids, the gnome in the dessert. If the gnome visited your area where would he go for his travel photo? Shoot a âgnomeâ in your space. (Gnome open to interpretation - anyone dressing up as a gnome gets big marks with me lol) |

bean sprouts.
we've all ate them - some of us dreaded them.
shoot a bean sprout in its natural habitat. try to show some kind of interaction that is unique to the bean sprout.

LOL oh man, that one caught me totally unware. Hahaha. I love it. I know you are mocking me, but I think it's a great suggestion. Sometimes things here are far too serious and some totally zany challenges would really make for some fun photo ops. |

We had a news report on the radio yesterday. Nearly one hundred gnomes had been stolen from gardens near Milton Keynes in UK. People use them as decoration in the UK, most are pretty tacky looking tho.
Anyway, the missing gnomes were found in a field, they had been lined up facing the motorway (freeway) and they were watching the cars passing!!

In my younger days we used to go gnome picking all of the time. We didn't actually steal the gnomes we just rearranged them or swapped them out between neighbours. At one point in became all of the rage to setup well known scenes, the last supper, gnomes at rest etc... Did I mention I grew up in the country without a whole lot of entertainment? I also have to confess that even now whenever I visit a friend in Vancouver that lives in a particularly gnome invested suburb, we still sneak around at night rearranging.
Cheap amusement. =)
We definitely need to have a gnome challenge.

from the sounds of it, you already have a ribbon wrapped up in gnome challenge.

You know what a cool challenge would be â To come up with a unique challenge and submit a âdemoâ photo, marks for both the photo and the challenge idea/description. The only problem would be fitting it all in the title. Would be funny though. |

The mundane: Take something ordinary and make it look extraordinary.
Oxymoron: A rhetorical figure in which incongruous or contradictory terms are combined, as in a deafening silence and a mournful optimist.
When you take over the world. What would it look like, what would you do, how would you run the joint?
B Rated Horror â Make a scene that looks like it could belong in a cult classic, B rated Horror movie. The cheesier the better.

I've been staring at rows and columns of numbers and formulas all day. I have a severe case of Cabin fever and I stubbed my toe. I need a break from reality - sign me up as a no brainer. =) |

LOl make a gnome part of the challenge by posting one in several positions with a transparent background to add to your photo. you woudl HAVE to use one of the posted gnomes in your picture.. this would have to be advanced editing
