My duck wasn't "rubber" either, probably more like polyurethane, as I suspect 99% of the others were

The joke may be, as others have suggested, that (at least in my case) the Duck will jump to the top of my profile page--and it may be there for ever and ever..... |

You must have exactly 5 green grapes in the photograph.
Here is mine!
My green fake grapes came out white/something/weird/plastic/balls - I think!
Otherwise they are 5!

Blue background was a given.
House nickname is Rubber Duckie.
Pool in the backyard, plus water still on roof plastic from rains.
5 Green grapes in the window sill.
Each house had a light on + the sun = 3 light sources.
Only item blatently not meeting the challenge *wink* was F4.0, but was my P&S setting.
I assumed this was a gag challenge anyway, and was happy to see it yanked, as my score was *gulp* in the 2.8 range last night.
Thinking outside the box and/or artistic interpretation is OK right?
Oh my face hurts from laughing about this one.

What the heck? The grapes ain't GREEN. Gotta be literal with the rules in this challenge, or what's the point? I believe that's the joke, see how many we can DQ if we take the rules SERIOUSLY, jejeje.

Than I am confused!
I had fun with this one but if there is no trick here then why did I get DQ-ed?
Whatever...
Heck! It's maybe cool to have a DQ and I should be happy is this one
I am more sad because on my pet entry. I do like the shot very much but it's not doing very well. The pet is not very pampered I think! Or maybe I think to much... |

The "joke" is every time they post a challenge, people get all anal about "interpreting" the challenge descriptiona s to what's allowed and what's not allowed. So for this one they gave us a very precise set of rules and warned us they'd DQ every entry that didn't follow them to the letter.
The REAL joke is it prodiced a wildly creatiuve bunch of images....

Actually met the challenge in a VERY out of the box way, and could prove it all too. (I did do it as a spoof though, assuming it was all an April Fool's joke). Oh wait - it did officially qualify for DQ in only one aspect: was shot at F4.0 (drat - could have started a whole new thread) ;)
So who was the wise-guy/gal hidden with all the quack! quack! quacks! in the comments? ROFL
I confess it was Quack! quaack quackk , erm me Tasha, it was after a few glasses around 2 am I couldnt stop quacking ,sorry laughing, all the while through every comment, at least I was amused, sorry folks.

I've requested 5 DQ's already. The SC should be going insane by now with all of the DQ requests. LOL I think the jokes on them. I did however see a lot of great shots considering the requirement for the challenge.
