I know this has been brought up in a tread before but I would like to know if the administrators are aggressively trying to get the problem fixed. It has become very bothersome to me and I know to others. It takes up to 30 seconds or more just to click on a link be it your profile, portfolio, or thread. I donĂ¢€™t mean to be rude but it has been going on for a week or two now.
What is weird about the problem it has neither rhyme nor reason. It happens all times of the day or night. It may happen for an hour and then for a few minutes work fine, then go back to being slow.

Probably bandwidth related. Who knows. Only their web hosts will be able to make heads or tales of it. But I've noticed it too. |

As has been posted in all of the threads addressing this problem, the admins are actively working to fix it. |

Yes, only on this site. I'm on Cable @ 3000/364 with millisecond avg of 14ms. All others sites very fast. The only thing I can see as a difference is that DPC's TTL has gone down to 50 where most sites are 128 to 250 TTL.

i have seen this issue raised here before - but i have not had any issues (beyond the one here or there being slow) until the past 3 or 4 days. Getting really slow at times, consistently slow - as in most all pages most of the time.

Yes. Taking from 60-90 seconds to respond. Then sometimes, instantly. Go figure. Seems worse today than yesterday, but erratic.
On cable.
Finding the cause of these things can be very frustrating.
Glad to hear it's being looked into.

Very erratic today, maddening. Maybe we've reached critical mass?
Robt.

Maybe I spoke too soon. I got hung up looking at one of your shots. And that was driving me crazy too.

Well, I was voting on Pets challenge, but sorry guys! Can't waste time waiting for page to refresh.
This ain't a joke any longer! Gonna give it another try later, if no better, then might have a look elsewhere.

By far the most maddening thing is the search "feature" in the forums. The search function is difficult enough on it's own at regular speed! It's frustrating waiting for 60 seconds for the search to be completed only to find out that it didn't turn up any results (again)!
I know it's being worked on...just venting, that's all!

Unfortunately, it's not a joke, and they are working on it.
I've not noticed any difference. Of course, most of the time I am on dial up anyway, so . . .. |
