First off, congrats to the ribbon winners -- truely gorgeous pictures!
Since I didn't get a lot of comments on my entry (and it did quite poorly), I am wondering if people could give me some idea of what I could have done to bring my score up even a little?
Thanks for any comments you have, I am completely open :-)

My comment left on your image...
"Unsure that the soft focused gravstones make much of a difference. Cemeteries generally invoke strong feelings and most of the high rated images in the challenge were on the melancholy side. By comparison yours is colorful and almost happy and that probably hurt your score.
The perspective is not that interesting and looks like you just stopped to take the shot looking downward. A different angle might have worked better.
If you don't come home from taking outdoor pictures with contorted soreness in your body then you probably took most pictures from a dull perspective. :)"

Thanks for the comments guys. Makes sense that having the flowers in the foreground removed focus from the very subject of the challenge! I am a sucker for flowers :)
Thanks again!
