Are the nikon cameras more sharper than the Canon, or is this just a mega stupid question?
Those this have to do only with the lens or does the camera make a diference too?
I'm asking this because yesterday i say someones photos of a nikon camera and we were in the same ambiente and his photos where sharper than mine... And i know that my sigma 15mm fisheye lens is sharp enough...~
So i am just wondering. please clear my mind.

There are too many variables involved to say that one brand of camera is sharper than another--- lens quality, in-camera settings, post processing skill, etc.

Sharpness of output from a DSLR is almost entirely dependent on the lens, assuming there is not a vast difference in the Mpx or sensor size. if your're comparing the 20D to, say, the D70 or D100, all three cameras have very similar resolution when coupled to the same quality lens.

you would have to try a same lens on diffent bodies to acually answer that
...though that being said - i have heard of a wider variance between sigmas that canon or nikon glass

it also depends on post processing / how accurate your focus is and even your focus points, shutter speed .. iso .. & even shooting stance & style
