Anyone ever see such a flower?
I have absolutely no idea what it is,
nor do I know if it was native to Arizona or not.

It's a Cassia leptophylla plant.

They have identical or similar ones in Australia. If you break a twig, you may find it is hollow inside. When my siblings and I were small and if there was a campfire going, we'd pretend to look *cool* by smoking the ends of them and gagging from the smoke. Memories... |
