HI guys

I just noticed that when I shoot at 1/1600 my files are all screwed up. Other speeds work fine. Changing the f-stop doesn't affect it. I tried 2 different lenses so it's not the lens.

Is this a CCD bug?

I think she'll be going to the doctor. :-(

You have a Nikon D70. At the higher speeds (1/1600 and faster, I believe), it uses an electronic shutter. It might be that there's something wrong with the drive circuitry controlling the electronic shuttering...

I wanted to check if it happens on mine too and did a check just now at 1/1600s @ISO 200 f/2.2.
Here are 2 samples (resampled only)

One thing that comes to mind is to check what your sharpness setting in the camera is. Perhaps you can take the same pictures in raw format and check to see if the grid is visible?
