It is a funny story becsause of the ending. I think most people here agree that if she or the dog would have been shot, it wouldn't be all that funny. Just like it is funny 10 minutes after you slip and bust your butt on the ice but it sure wasnt funny seconds after it happened.

Really??? So why did they write this in the article:
"When the gunman discovered what was in it, he threw it down in disgust, pointed his gun at the 32-year-old woman and demanded money
As a bystander, reading that this dolt mistakenly grabbed a bag of turds does seem rather funny,,, but the sequence of events that followed is not remotely funny. I would wager that had you been the victim of this act, you would, in all probability, find nothing amusing about it.

| The Only Question I have is why would it be any less scary to have someone point a gun at your dog.. i mean it is a gun right If he would openly displaay the gun and aim it at the dog whats to say he would not aim it at the lady? Goodness, welkl I guess I'm humorless because I still don't find it funny..turds and all, as a matter of fact I find it all the more disturbing because of the turds. |

"I read this and just had to share it. Kinda scary the lady was looking down the barrel of the gun while he pulled the trigger. Lucky it didn't go off. But talk about the wrong bag to grab."
In there anywhere to you see where I SAID that it was funny that he pointed the gun at her?

As a matter of fact I said "kinda scary" The funny part in this post is he tried to make off with a bag of turds. If you don't find it funny or interesting why do you keep coming back. Don't blast me cause I find something fun and you don't.

look.. some people are so uptight and just have to have something to complain about, i totally understood where you were coming from..i have had a gun in my face for throwing eggs at cars when i was young, and no it wasnt funny..but i'm glad i hit the bastards car and he went to jail!!

Would this story still be so funny if the woman had children with her and the gunman had pulled the trigger on them?
Would it still be funny if the gun had gone off?
How about if it was your mother/wife/daughter having the gun pointed at them?
"Gunman attempts to shoot family pet in failed robbery, still at large".
Hilarious.

Because for me, the story stops being funny as soon as the gun is drawn.
How far exactly does it have to go before you stop finding it funny?
A dead dog?
A dead woman?
What about when this gunman, who is quite happy to pull the trigger, attacks again? Still funny?
If calling me names is supposed to make me feel bad about not finding gun crime funny you're wasting your insults.

This thread obviuosly isn't funny to most people here (for those that got a good laugh, I laugh with you) so SC can lock it and get rid of it anytime. I just thought some people would get a good laugh out of someone trying to steal a bag of turds not pointing a gun at someone or someone's dog. Obviously most people don't have a sense of humor anymore.
Life is short people.

obviously he didnt read the original post because it DOESNT say the gun was funny, the freakin TURDS are funny...turds are funny...a bag of TURDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
