my first try at the rubber duck contest.. I didn´t read the text about the grapes and background and stuff.. so I just set up a scene with a rubber duck and took some pictures.. only to find out when I was about to enter the picture that it didn´t qualify, so off I went to the store to get the grapes..

here´s my first try.. how would it have done in the challenge if there were no specifics other than a rubber duck ?

Not very well in a challenge, because you havent used the full 640 pixel limit so it looks very small. Also, you have sized it down without sharpening so it's all very soft. These are big no-no's on DPC if you want to score well :)

and besides that, cruelty-to-duckies doesn't score well at all....

sorry...

Robt. (who set all his duckies free and can't enter this challenge)

They turned to raisins and fell through the grill.
