I took these pictures this afternoon and would love to find out if they are good, bad or ?. Thanks so so much!!!!

Both are small - resize to 640 or even 800 wide and repost.

the first one i like. The second has the blurry flower in the background that is competing for my attention.

Here are two i took yesterday...comments welcome. I had no visitors to capture though. See how mine are bigger - more impressive and also allows one to see more detail (good or bad)

Thanks! Your flowers are beautiful... I resized the photos and edited the lavender one.

Much better. I still like the yellow one better.

I have been playing a bit at macro with my new camera and bits and pieces. The only bugs around here right now are ladybugs - hard to get them to sit still. I get such a narrow DOF and am using a manual focus lens, so a tripod is mandatory.

I like the yellow better, too. I might have preferred more field (off-center slightly)to the left or right or top. It's a crisp shot. I like the bee's shadow on the petals. Very nice. The lavender one seems a bit out of focus, kind of boring.
