I read this and just had to share it. Kinda scary the lady was looking down the barrel of the gun while he pulled the trigger. Lucky it didn't go off. But talk about the wrong bag to grab.
SAN DIEGO (AP) ΓΆ€” The hunt is on for a turd burglar.
Police in San Diego are searching for a gunman who swiped a bag of poop from a woman out walking her dog.
The woman told police that she was out walking her dog, Misty, on Monday night when a man in his 20s ran up behind her and grabbed the bag she was holding.
When the gunman discovered what was in it, he threw it down in disgust, pointed his gun at the 32-year-old woman and demanded money, San Diego police detective Gary Hassen said.
He then aimed his .22-caliber semiautomatic at Misty and pulled the trigger twice but the gun didn't fire, Hassen said.
The robber ran to a waiting small, silver car and fled the scene, police said.

I don't think this is funny, myself. It's scary. And it's pathetic. Maybe that's just me...

I didn't say the whole thing was funny. Just funny that a robber tried to steal a bag of dog turds.

Yeah, except he DIDN'T make off with a bag of turds, he OPENED the bag, saw it was turds, and tried to shoot the lady... But hey, I'm not on your case or anything, it's vaguely amusing that a robber found turds int he bag he was trying to steal, but... jaysus... Am I gonna get killed for cleaning up after my dog?

Well my sense of humor is twisted. I repeat though I didn't find the fact that he pulled a gun on her funny. Just funny this robber thought he was getting some good stuff when he tried to steal a bad of turds. Serves him right in my mind.

yep, pretty damn funny! i wonder what kinda bag it was? most people pick up poop with a plastic grocery bag, atleast thats what i see here in Md.

And newspaper bags.
The story is pretty funny. Reminds me of the bank robber who was to nervous during the bank robbery and said, "Listen up, motherstickers, this is a f#$k-up!" Then fled embarrassed because everybody started laughing.

My wife puts dog crap in a Gucci purse and puts her valuables in a paper bag...and when a guy threatens to shoot the dog, she says "Go ahead, it's the neighbour's dog anyway".

I thought it was funny when I read it at the time, and am chuckling at the fact it could have been in a Gucci bag as someone said.
Hopefully that robber does not hurt someone seriously next time. |

I'm sorry, but I thought this was hilarious..now if the women had actually gotten shot that would be a different story. The women herself probably had a good laugh about it once it was all said and done, I mean, come on... a guy stealing poop? That's funny!

oh..pointed at the dog...my mistake. Well...having had a gun pointed at myself and my children..and knowing how people feel about their dogs..probly wasnt much better
