I was wondering how it is loading, I just got started on this new one, please let me know, I may have to optimize it some more.

define slow? it could use a boost with some optimized gif graphics, but it's ok.
wait, those ARE gifs. yes, it's loading slow.

I think you broke it now...no pics are loading and I get the dreaded 404 error when clicking on links.

working on it. i figured out it was the big photos. they were to large in size.

This will never load fast. Having a webpage consisting almost entirely of solid images is a bad move IMHO.
Also, because of this, any screen size greater than 1024x768 sees black on the right and bottom.
You are better to have a thin image repeated horizontally for your background then have the other images (without the background) placed seperately.
Also, a good rule of thumb is to never use graphics for text (except for header logos or where pixel perfect positioning is required).
