A month or two ago there was someone selling remotes that would work with a 20D that sounded pretty well regarded. I got in touch with the seller who told me to check back early March, but I've since lost the address and can't find the thread. Would someone be so kind as to point me in the right direction?

Was it this thread where someone was selling an alternative on Ebay?

I did a search in Google using "wireless remote 20d site:dpchallenge.com" to try to find it. If that thread was not it try looking at the other pages that this search produces; there were several more.

I bought mine off Ebay..not wireless though. Cost was only $15.00 US. Works great with no problems!

Okay, I broke down and got one...I noticed too that on the sellers ebay store they were progressively getting more expensive and/or didn't have the "buy it now" option although the price stayed the same. Sure I'd like the Timer remote but I couldn't pass this one up for $24 (including s/h). Woot!

got my new remote and it really is pretty nice, simple, clean design, cord is only about 3 feet max. but it does the job for less than half of what Canon wants for basically the same thing
