Once again, thanks to everyone for choosing images for the exhibit. While I didn't win any ribbons, I did receive a phone call saying my Williamsburg Bridge image was sold. $75 to the manager of the local theater. :-)

Thank you all so much! I couldn't have done it without you.

On another happy note...

I received an email from someone the other day who stumbled on my site through a search. He wants to order a 20x30 print from me and asked if I'd take $95. Things are lookin' up. :-)

Thanks again.

many congrats. i'm not close to that level yet, but how does one go about finding local exhibits to try to display/sell their stuff at?

Well done! Who needs a ribbon (especially of the non-dpc variety) when you can have 75 dollars buring a hole in your pocket instead :).

Wonderful photo... I could easily see that image hanging on a wall somewhere.

Congrats on your sales, definitely a step in the right direction and something I would like to pursue more.

Hi Brian. I found out about this one through a craft/art show I did. A lady suggested that I look into it...and I did. :-) There are some websites that have show listings. If you want I can see if I can find them in my favorites. Also look in papers and ask your local camera shops and galleries.

Probably. I'm getting an even $100 now. I probably could have gotten more but I didn't want to chase him away. $75 is better than nothing...and he's also indicated interest in some other prints for future purchases.

I'm happy with that.
