Hey,
My college's having a photo contest, and one of the categories is landscape. My question is: can this be considered a landscape?

Another option I have is this one here:

Not really sure if this one would apply either.
Anyway, if they do, any one think I should submit one instead of the other? Which?
If you think they both suck, please say so too :)
Thank you!

Data transfer limit has been exceeded. I saw the bridge before that happened, never saw the other. Bridge is nice, but it's not really a "landscape", no.

Geocities sux, dude.

Robt.

I don't think either of them necessarily fit in a 'landscape' photography contest. Usually when I think of landscape, you're shooting a good bit of ground with a nice sky in the background and maybe a tree or a barn or a swing or a bush or a ... well you get the idea ... to hold a main point of interest.

Im not sure what qualifies as a landscape....but I definetly like the first photo better, good luck ;)

Thanks for the opinions!

Hmm, maybe I'm pushing too hard, but would the bridge one qualify for "pattern"? That's the other category (well, there's also portrait, but I really don't see that happening). :)

Yeah, yeah... I'll probably just leave it :(
