It's just been posted! First time i'll get to try a free study!

I thought that's what we have going right now with the Stock Photo thing. We have a month to do this. I'm going to smoke you all.

hey! one problem! It is autumn here. :op and raining. Expecting a severe storm, pretty cool and 5 metre swell. Might have to take the new camera out ;o)

Errr It's a Free Study, so by defninition, any subject at all will do :-)

Yes Point Break. Tops movie (NOT!) it was filmed in Melbourne I believe at Bells Beach. Did i tell you guys i saw Keanu Reeves here on the central coast while filming The Matrix. He is really tall. (dont like him at all)

Wasn't my favorite, but I loved the surf scene at the end. Made me kind of miss Hawaii.

DARN! It ends before we NYrs get to go to the Botanical Garden. Grrrr. May have to make a separate trip. :)

may just stick with a Manhattan shot as well...we'll see.

The subject does not have to be about Spring. While we just had the Vernal Equinox in DPC-Serverland, we recognized that it was the Autumnal Equinox for half the Earth.

Part of the reason for the phrasing is that we wanted to "spring" the challenge on you as a surprise ...

You certainly sound ready to spring into action. Just make sure to photograph something tasteful, which will not cause people to recoil, or else you may find your score too slinky for you -- although it could bounce back if you can get people to see the peculiar twist you gave the challenge topic.
