I was just wondering...I have had a couple pictures where there are power lines in the background...people always vote down because of it, and usually leave rude comments about it...but is it legal to edit them out? even in advanced?? I was under the impression it was NOT legal, even in advanced, as that would be removing one item from the picture.
please help!

IMO it is Legal to edit them out by cloning, etc. as long as the lines are not considered a major element.
ADVANCED EDITING
Selective Editing: Adjustments can be made selectively to your photo. Cloning, dodging, burning, etc. to improve your photo or remove imperfections or minor distracting elements, etc. is acceptable. However, using any editing tools to duplicate, create, or move major elements of your photograph is not permitted.

Under advanced rules, removing power lines is okay. Good luck!
