im trying to get some info about printers that can print great 8x10, 5x7's, 4x6's, and wallets. i want something that i may take with me to a dance/prom and print the photos on the spot. if anyone can help and lead me the right direction, i would like that very much.

Going to be hooked up to a laptop before printing or you want one that will do direct prints? Does cost matter, ink prices, paper prices, etc?

i would like to run the printer off my lap top. cost matters but do you have any printers in mind? thanks for answering faidoi.

Can't get anybetter than the Epson R800 for that. Commercial quality with longevity. Fairly compact as far as printers goes.
Will need power supply though.

| The HP7960 is archival - up to 83 years, prints from wallets up to 8.5 X 11", does NOT need a computer to make basic adjustments, as it has a small LCD screen, it zooms, crops, rotates, enhances images, can do a proof sheet... and is pretty reasonably priced. Fast too! |
