Well long day of work and I missed the deadline by seconds. I hit submit at midnight on the dot and it never took. I don't know what to do without an update button on my screen! lol. what would YOU have given my entry?

Nice shot, would have scored it well. Looks like some good thought and preparation went into it.

This would have scored well with government suppliers who are always on the look-out for new and innovative ideas in the realm of security.
I would have scored this highly, but I can't tell you.... Security you know.... sshhhhhhhhhhhhhh

really nice idea but the shreds don't line up with the holes which puts me off.
sorry! |

don't be sorry. it's just your opinion, which is what i asked for. :)
That's the stuff i want to hear (and some good of course). that's why i love this site and entering challenges. it's so hard for me to look at my stuff objectively because i'm so involved in it. I'll notice some things and then completely miss others until someone comments on it. I couldn't get the shreds to line up perfectly but I was hoping the shreds would pull your eye from focusing on that and the concept would pull it through.
thanks. |

We all have that problem, lol.
Your shot has an interesting play on words for it's theme and is well executed, but for me it looked a little fakey because I don't think a shredder would cut paper so cleanly. It would be more convincing, to me at least, if the shreds were more irregular and raggedy.

I second that. I dig the creativity behind your idea, but due to the lining up of the paper, hmmmmm I would have given it a 5 or 6. |

thanks.
as far as the shreds looking clean, i kind of wanted it to still look like the product of an electric paper shredder but comming out of a hand grater. I may not have communicated that very well visually.
yeah, lining the holes up was a tough one, didn't think it weighed that heavy on the viewer though, good to know. . thanks again. |
